A program licensed by the Ministry of Education within the GEFEN program, the gateway for authorities and educational activities, Program Number: 32736

Program Summary: The program focuses on the relationship between the school (administration and teachers) and the parents, who are considered one of the main factors in the community surrounding the school. In reality, although schools influence the social and cultural relationships within which they operate, they are also influenced by them. On one hand, various factors impose demands and challenges on the school, while on the other hand, they are an important source for improving its educational, teaching, and learning processes. Good mutual relationships between the school and its community are a prerequisite for achieving its vision and goals and also contribute to strengthening the social power of the community. The program includes lectures and workshops. During the program, social initiatives will be planned and implemented by parents, in cooperation with the school team and community activists such as women/men, teachers, neighborhood committees, elders, community administration staff, imams, business owners, etc., and logistical coordination with educational authorities. In total, there will be 5 workshops for each group consisting of 15 parents or educational staff (as chosen by the school), each workshop lasting two hours and one lecture per group.
Main Objective and Aspects of the Program: The main objective of the program is to strengthen the relationship between the school and teachers and the parents of students by developing life skills, educational climate, and communication tools among them.
