The implementation of this project took place in March 2026.
As part of Kayani’s work in environmental education and green school development, we implemented school garden projects in several schools in Jerusalem.
These gardens were created in:
Afaq School, led by Principal Hanan Abu DaloAl-Ufuq School for Students with Special Needs, led by Principal SuzanAl-Bakriya School for Students with Special Needs
Through these projects, Kayani helped transform school spaces into green, active, and meaningful learning environments.
The gardens are more than decorative spaces. They are living classrooms where students can connect with nature, learn about plants, practice responsibility, and experience environmental education through direct action.
Each garden creates opportunities for:
Hands-on environmental learning
Daily care and responsibility
Connection to nature inside the school
Inclusive learning experiences for students with different needs
Healthier and more welcoming school spaces
A stronger sense of belonging to the school environment
At Kayani, we believe that every school can become a greener, more supportive, and more inspiring place for students.
Creating gardens in schools is part of our mission to bring sustainability into daily learning and to build spaces where students can grow — together with the plants they care for.
