During the 2025–2026 academic year, KAYANI continued its mission of promoting environmental education, experiential learning, and positive educational climate development across schools, kindergartens, and community institutions in Jerusalem.

Through hands-on projects, environmental initiatives, and learning spaces, KAYANI empowered students, educators, families, and communities to become active participants in creating a more sustainable future.

In addition, greenhouse and hydroponic projects were implemented in kindergartens across Beit Hanina, Shuafat, Silwan, Al-Tur, Umm Tuba, Sheikh Jarrah, the Old City, Beit Safafa, and Wadi Qaddum.

Impact in Action

At KAYANI, sustainability is not only about the environment—it is a tool for building responsibility, creativity, leadership, and belonging.

Throughout the year, schoolyards were transformed into living learning environments, educational gardens and greenhouses were established, innovative learning spaces were developed, and hundreds of students participated in meaningful hands-on experiences.

Our projects helped students learn through practice, strengthen teamwork, connect with nature, and become active contributors to their schools and communities.

Looking Ahead to 2027

KAYANI aims to expand its reach to additional schools and communities across Jerusalem, develop more green learning spaces, strengthen leadership and sustainability programs, and continue building innovative educational models that connect people, communities, and the environment.

Together, we are working toward a future where every child has the opportunity to learn, create, and thrive in a sustainable and inspiring environment.
