Eco trip in Palestinian villages. Seeing the huge variety of unique plants is enough to make the trip memorable, but the breathtaking views and intriguing Aboriginal history add so much more. See plants and more while gaining a deeper understanding of their delicate ecosystem and corrolate people with land.
1- The Mount of Olives 4.9.2021 tour: one of three peaks of a mountain ridge which runs for 3.5 kilometres (2.2 miles) just east of the Old City across the Kidron Valley, The highest point on the Mount of Olives is At-Tur, at 818 m (2,684 ft), and features many man-made burial caves.
2-Beit Safafa/ Al Walajeh 11.9.2021 tour: Beit Safafa's natural surroundings offer a picturesque landscape, with olive groves and greenery dotting area. It provides a serene escape within the bustling city of Jerusalem, making it a charming place to explore and enjoy nature.
3-Jabal Al Masharef 24.9.2021 tour: Mount "Jabal Al Masharef" has the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, we toured the mountain around the University, discovering the area. We also entered a park that has been left for years, no one including the manipulicity of Jerusalem clean or organize the park, so we helped clean it and revive the place.
2- Khirbet Al-Saadia 26.9.2021 tour: Khirbet al-Saadiya is a depopulated village located south of Jerusalem, on the mountains adjacent to the village of Ein Karem, opposite the village of Sataf, and next to the hand of Candy memorial. It is considered one of the most beautiful mountainous areas of Jerusalem, with its diverse and enjoyable nature.
The trip aimed to increase knowledge and awareness of natural history and the methods used to protect nature and the ecological system in Palestine.
